Who Is Jesus? - Mark 4:35-41

As he calms the storm, Jesus is the God of Genesis 1, whose voice brings order! Creation listens to his voice. In the beginning, the earth was without form, chaotic. God speaks and brings order to it all! As Jesus calms the storm, he shows that he is one with the Father.

When life becomes chaotic, we need the Word of the Lord! Order will come about only through his mercy. 

If our finances are chaotic, we must work hard. Stretch the dollar. Don't forget to bless the church. God can calm this storm as well.

The Word brings peace to the chaos. Trust the Lord, believe his Word, and see what he does! 

Anxiety is part of life for all of us. We must fear not, for God allowed the storm to rock the boat! And then he calmed it. Don't worry into hopelessness, have faith and let him calm the storm! Bring your worries to him.

God is worthy of our trust. He can do anything, and he's for his people! He is faithful. We need not fear, for he is with us! 

Faith depends not on our clarity of understanding of our situation... but on the goodness of God!
