2022-05-29 - Darkness and Light - Revelation 8:10-13

God is sovereign and may return whenever He chooses, so we interpret the imagery in Revelation using scripture, not current events. When God punishes or curses those in darkness, the punishment ironically reflects their sin. For them, the darkness will only grow darker... for those who walk in the light of Christ, the day only grows brighter! In Heaven, light from the sun is not needed; the Lamb is the lamp!
