Today we visit the next few Beatitudes in Matthew 5...
Meekness is gentleness, but with strength!
Righteousness... We hunger and thirst for righteousness, and are satisfied in these ways: on earth as we fellowship together... in Heaven, where sin will be gone... and the hunger and thirst themselves will transform us through the struggle.
Mercy... The merciful will receive mercy! We must extend mercy if we expect it for ourselves... and we do extend it because of how much we already know it's been given to us.
Purity, honesty, innocence... The pure in heart shall see God. Transparency, no hidden motives!
