When the Lord returns, he's not going to "live and let live"; he's going to return as Truth. He won't remain neutral on moral issues, atheism, other religions, etc. Though we should live peaceably, we must stand on the authority of the Word of God, and not remain indifferent to the things that are destroying the world.
