B-Side - Mark 1:14-20

Jesus and the Father are one, bringing the same message! Mark is informing the gentile Christians that they are NOT a sect or weird branch of old testament believers; Jesus preaches with the same authority as the Father.

Repentance is a gift. It means there's still time to come to the Lord and say you're sorry, and that time is now! In about 40 years, Jerusalem would be burned to the ground, so this message was URGENT.

Wherever a believer goes, as the Spirit goes with him, the Kingdom is increased!

When Jesus said, "Follow me," the four young men immediately left their lives and followed him. Young men need a purpose! James and John were apparently from a wealthy family, so they gave up a lot to follow the Lord. God calls all kinds of people from all economic strata, regardless of our qualifications! He calls us, THEN he qualifies us!
